Registrations open 3 April. Abstract submissions now open, closing 10 April
The New Zealand Association of Economist’s 64th Annual Conference will be held at Victoria University of Wellington’s Pipitea Campus between Wednesday 3rd and Friday 5th of July.
The conference is open to all with an interest in economics. It boasts a welcoming and engaged membership across public, private, and academic spheres.
We have confirmed four keynote speakers for this year’s conference:
Prof. Charles Kolstad, Stanford University, on the economics of climate change;
Prof. Stefanie Schurer, University of Sydney, on the economics of human development;
Dr Graham Scott, Director of Sapere Research Group and previous Secretary to the New Zealand Treasury; and
Prof. David Vines, University of Oxford, on macroeconomics.
The conference fosters discussions and networking, as well as keeping up to date with the most recent developments across many areas of economics.
If you’d like to submit a paper or poster for presentation at the conference, then please submit an abstract by the 10th of April. Submissions are eligible for a number of prizes, including student awards. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and should be submitted here .
